SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Authorities say a wildfire northeast of Lake Berryessa has burned several hundred acres.
KGO reports http://bitly.com/19m1StP ) the fire broke out around 8:15 p.m. Thursday night, burning 500 acres and threatening five structures.
The Napa County Sheriff's Office said that no evacuations have been ordered but that roads will be closed as firefighters work to contain the fire.
Shortly before midnight, Cal Fire reported via Twitter that the fire was 75 percent contained and the forward spread of the fire has been stopped.
That station says people in some Bay Area counties reported smelling smoke from the fire.
