10 a.m. PASADENA — El Centro de Accion Social will celebrate "Dia de los Tres Reyes Magos (Three Kings Day)," during which 150 children from low-income families in Pasadena will receive gifts. Pasadena Unified School District board vice president Tryon Hampton, Pasadena police Officer Christian Allen and Carlos Hernandez, the center's youth site coordinator, will dress as the three kings and distribute the gifts. 5 p.m. LOS ANGELES — The 2014 New Year's Race will be held, featuring a half-marathon, 5K run, Kids Fun Run and Health and Fitness Expo.
