Tulane guard Kajon Mack out for season

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Tulane guard Kajon Mack will miss the rest of the season.

Green Wave coach Ed Conroy says the sophomore player underwent surgery last week to repair injuries to his left ankle. Further details were not released.

Mack has not played this season due to his injury, but played in 29 games last year as a freshman with seven starts. The Los Angeles native averaged 2.7 points and 1.2 rebounds last season and scored a career-high 16 points against Houston.

Conroy says the team will miss Mack, who was going to be a "stabilizing figure for our team with his experience he gained last year."
