NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Jarvis Threatt scored 25 points and Delaware got past Cal Poly 82-72 today in the last nonconference game for both schools. Delaware (8-7) built a 47-33 halftime lead behind 14 first-half points from Devon Saddler and Cal Poly (4-9) trailed by double digits in the second half until the final minute of the game. Anthony Silvestri led Cal Poly with 14 points and Kyle Odister added 12.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Four players scored in double figures as Tulsa pulled away in the second half to defeat Cal State-Fullerton 73-57 today. Rashad Smith, James Woodward and D'Andre Wright had 12 points apiece for the Golden Hurricane (5-9) with Shaquille Harrison adding 11. Michael Williams led Fullerton with 20 points and Josh Gentry added 15.

DENTON, Texas (AP) — Brandan Walton hit four 3-pointers to finish with 14 points as North Texas held on to defeat UC Riverside 76-72 today. Walton scored a 3-pointer to stretch the North Texas (9-5) lead to 69-62 with 1:32 remaining. UC Riverside (5-9) answered with an 8-4 run, capped by Nick Gruninger's 3-pointer, to pull the Highlanders within 72-70 with 23 seconds left.

TORONTO (AP) — The New York Rangers acquired tough guy Dan Carcillo from the Los Angeles Kings today for a seventh-round pick in this year's draft. Carcillo fills a role for New York, which lost Derek Dorsett to a broken left fibula for four to six weeks. Carcillo appeared in 26 games this season for Los Angeles.
