Ryan Villopoto wins in Seattle

SEATTLE (AP) — Ryan Villopoto won his hometown AMA Supercross race Saturday night for his second straight victory and fifth of the season.

The Kawasaki rider held off Suzuki's James Stewart in the 450SX event at CenturyLink Field.

The three-time defending series champion extended his points lead to 48 over Stewart, also a five-time winner in the first 15 races of the 17-event season. KTM's Ryan Dungey was third in the race and is third in the standings, 51 points behind.

Honda's Cole Seely won the 250SX Western Regional race for his second victory in the first eight events. KTM's Jason Anderson was second.

Anderson leads the standings, eight points ahead of Seely with one race left.
