Slain porn mogul's daughter wanted by authorities

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (AP) — Authorities are seeking the daughter of a slain California porn mogul after she allegedly perpetrated an identity-theft spree and rammed into an unmarked sheriff's patrol car.

Sonoma County sheriff's Sgt. Michael Raasch says Jasmine Mitchell, who is wanted on a warrant, may also face charges for assault on an officer and hit-and-run for the alleged incident in April.

Detectives were tipped that the 33-year-old Mitchell and another suspect were living at an apartment complex across from a San Pablo casino.

Raasch says as detectives attempted to arrest Mitchell, she rammed her car into the unmarked patrol car and struck another car before escaping.

Mitchell's father is Artie Mitchell, who was fatally shot by his brother Jim Mitchell in 1991.

The brothers produced one of the first feature-length porn films and co-owned a still popular San Francisco strip club.
